The scholarship is for one year with an extension to the second year of study, as appropriate, which shall be conditional on the scholar maintaining a satisfactory level of performance as determined by the institute. The maximum duration of scholarship award is two years for masters and doctorate programs.

International Fellows Program/ New York, US

The Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society’s Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program provides leadership training through applied research and professional mentorships for young scholar-practitioners in the nonprofit sector. The program is open to scholars and practitioners interested in building Third-Sector capacity in the United States and overseas. This year’s Fellows will be selected from abroad and also from communities of color under-represented in the U.S. grantmaking sector. Fellows are based at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York, where they design and pursue an individualized research project and participate in a seminar with Third-Sector leaders. Specific topical areas are chosen each year.

Andrew Mwenda Afrikaya edilən yardımların ziyanları barədə danışır. Əgər vaxtınız varsa videoya axıra qədər baxın. Mən bu videoya çoxdan baxmışdım və baxdıqdan sonra 2-3 gün Afrika barədə internetdə qarşıma nə çıxdısa oxumuşdum. Mən çox istərdim ki, bizdə də belə jurnalistlər olsun.

Müharibə Gürcüstanın başqa bölgələri kimi azərbaycanlıların sıx yaşadığı Borçalı mahalını da yerindən oynadıb. Borçalı - indiki adıyla desək, Kvemo-kartli bölgəsi döyüş meydanından uzaqdadır, amma rus qoşunlarının hücumundan sonra bu yerlərin də əhvalı, yaşayış tərzi dəyişib. İndi burada da əsgər yolu gözləyirlər…
Məmməd dayı deyir ki, indi kəndlilərin qulağı səsdədir ki, bu saat bombalar partlayacaq. O, Gürcüstanın Bolnisi rayonunun Qoşakilsə kəndindədir:
«Qonşu kəndə 25-ə qədər bomba düşüb, xoşbəxtlikdən partlamayıb. Amma hokumətdən heç kim gəlib bununla maraqlanmır, bombaları zərərsizləşdirmək barədə fikirləşən yoxdur. Cəmi bir dəfə mütəxəssislər baxıb gediblər».
